OWNER EDUCATION
Interested in getting into the breeding and/or racing industry, but don't know where to begin?

Are you a racing fan that is wondering what it's like to be the owner of a winning Thoroughbred?

Ever thought about how much fun it would be to be among the excited gathering of friends and family in the winner's circle after each victory?

There are a number of ways to become involved as an owner and they include everything from buying a horse by yourself to owning a small percentage of a horse with a group of friends or family in a racing partnership. The game of Thoroughbred ownership can be played at many different levels and the fun and excitement are there at any level of participation.  The unique sights, sounds and camaraderie of the backstretch in the morning, the beauty of and bond with the horse, the anticipation of race day, the anticipation in the paddock before the race and the thrill you get from seeing your horse in your silks come onto the track, is available to all owners!
That is what it’s all about: having fun and enjoying the Sport of Kings!

At OTOBA, we believe that the more information we provide and the more informed you are, the more fun you will get out of this game.  We can help - contact OTOBA today with your questions.  We are always looking for ways to get new owners to the racetrack and would enjoy helping you enter into an exciting industry!

Keep checking our News & Events for seminars and symposiums to educate new owners and breeders!
