Breeders' Awards are paid to the breeder of record as long as the horse is winning in Oregon, the breeder of record receives a check, no matter who the owner is!
Keep in mind after you sale a horse, when it goes on to race under a new owner, you (the breeder of record) will continue to receive a breeder's award, 10% of wins in Oregon!
Last year the OTOBA paid out over $73,000 in Breeders' Awards! As an OTOBA member you are eligible to take advantage of this incentive program for our breeders.
